FOOTBALL – The football team improved to 2-0 overall by defeating Sammamish 21-9 Friday night. The win is the best start for the team since 2016. Justin Vallejo had two touchdown runs of 1 yard and 8 yards. Quarterback Hanad Hassan throw to Chase Linkous for a 74 yard touchdown reception to secure the win. Kicker Francisco Resendiz made three extra points to give him 10 consecutive this season.

The Eagles are home Thursday and play Foster at 7 p.m. The Bulldogs have dominated the scoreboard in recent years.

CROSS COUNTRY – Kevin Quiroz placed 19th overall in the upper classmen division (19:22.2). Madelyn Tocher placed 70th overall in the freshman/sophomore girls division (26:17.3).
