Football – The football team couldn’t keep up with the Foster Bulldogs losing their first game of the season, 43-24. Despite the loss, this was the first game in several seasons the team played all four quarters without a running clock and refused to give up despite several key injuries.
Scoring drive:
2nd quarter – Kyle Rasmussen with a safety (Lindbergh 2, Foster 0)
3rd quarter – Abdul Gilbert with a 3-yard touchdown run, Justin Vallejo 2-pt (Lindbergh 10, Foster 22)
4th quarter – Keena Book with 6-yard touchdown run, run attempted failed. (Lindbergh 16, Foster 43).
4th quarter – Vallejo with a 78-yard touchdown run, Book with 2-point run). Lindbergh 24, Foster 43)
The Eagles (2-1 Kingco/overall) travel to Seattle Memorial Stadium to play Lincoln of Seattle on Friday, October 8 at 5 p.m.

Girls Swimming – The girls swim team swam again Hazen on Thursday. Junior Caelee Truong achieved IRONMAN status. She has now qualified for state in all 8 individual events. Below are the current members of the LHS girls swim team that have qualified for the league, district, and state meets:
Kingco League Qualifiers: Caelee Truong, Cheyenne Bertch, Angelina Crites, Kate Widmer, and An Pham
District Qualifiers: Caelee Truong, Cheyenne Bertch, Angelina Crites, and Kate Widme
State Qualifiers: Caelee Truong.

Girls soccer lost to Sammamish 5-2 for their first league loss of the season. Details were not reported.

Boys tennis beat Foster 6-1 on Tuesday. Justin Singanavong and Spencer Edwards won in single play. Other matches were forfeited

Girls Volleyball rallied down 2-0 to beat Evergreen on Tuesday 3-2. Girls JV won 2-1. Details were not reported.
