Custodians respond to flooding hallways
Fast work from the evening custodians prevented major flooding in the hallways between 250 and 280. Over two inches of rain fell in a 24-hour period creating severe runoff from the roof into the court yard. Historically this area is the first to flood. Water came through the door spilling into the hallway.
On going drainage issues are only solved by cleaning out the drains located in the two circle containers. A permanent fix to prevent future flooding that impacts many classrooms has not been addressed.
