Preview – Girls Basketball

The girls’ basketball team is in a rebuilding year from the ground up led by first-year head coach Jessica Isabell and senior Zackeia Jones Tutwiler. The rest of the varsity and junior varsity squad is made up of freshman and sophomores. Junior Julia Silchuk, Arleth Jiminez, Eva Ahmad, and Amal Osman round out the upperclassmen.
Despite the start, the team got its first win of the season last week against Evergreen after facing 3A rivals Hazen and Liberty.
