Black Student Union
The purpose of Black Student Union. BSU meets in the Career Center Thursdays at 2:20 pm. They talk about Black Culture and things that happen in society, also talk about upcoming events and activities and plan things they want to be a part of. The president of BSU is Jeovone Walker is a senior and has served as an officer since first joining BSU as an underclassman.
The project that BSU has recently worked on is MLK day livestream presentation and they are currently planning some events for Black History Month beginning with there first annual BSU spirit week which has days themed around Black Culture and they also have a few more events brewing for Black History Month and later this year. What made you guys start BSU? At the time the school was looking for an advisor for BSU so Mr. Blair Kimber and Ms. Rhodes stepped in and became co advisors for BSU and it was important that Black students and Lindbergh have club that represents them and their Culture.
