Fastpitch
The girls fastpitch softball team won their second straight game against Renton, 20-4. The Eagles face league leading Sammamish at Lindbergh, Friday, 4pm.
Baseball
The baseball team rallied down 5-1 to force extra innings Wednesday against Evergreen. In the bottom of the eight, sophomore Diego Dumlao doubled on a 0-1 count to score senior Anthony Benavides for the win. Dumlao and Benavides combined for nine of the team’s 11 hits. Junior Lane Swenson came in for relief, striking out seven Evergreen players. The team travels to Tyee, Friday, then home for back to back games against Renton and Sammamish.
