May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, or AAPI month, an annual celebration that recognizes the historical and cultural contributions of individual groups of Asian and Pacific Islander descent to the United States. Nearly 30% of the Lindbergh student body represents these countries. According to the Library of Congress, over 21 million Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are the fastest-growing ethnic group in the U.S. electorate. In fact, 26% of Lindbergh’s population is of Asian descent!

This whole month, how has LHS celebrated AAPI Month? Leadership has included notable figures of Asian descent and their contributions during the announcements in the last week of May.
