After the success of the first season Invincible is continuing the animated series with a season 2 that just came out that will have 2 parts and future seasons have been confirmed for the show.

  Invincible is based off of a comic book series by Robert Kirkman A well known American comic book writer. He’s well known for comics like The Walking Dead, Invincible and some Marvel comics like Marvel Zombies.

  The story continues after the events of season 1 where Mark aka Invincible had to face his father Omni-Man because he didn’t want to conquer the planet with his father. 

 Omni-Man is a Viltrumite,(a part of an alien species that conquers planets), which makes mark full blooded, there’s a certain code and loyalty that they follow. It led to Omni-Man almost killing his son Mark in an attempt to get rid of him so that he could carry out the mission of conquering earth for the Viltrum empire. 

   In season 2 the main villain that’s going to be showing up in the show is Angstrom Levy, somebody who has the ability to open portals to alternate realities.
