Hey freshmen! As a senior, I’ve learned a lot over the past few years, and I wanted to share some advice that might help you navigate high school a bit more smoothly. Number one GET INVOLVED: Seriously, join clubs, sports teams, or any extracurricular activities that interest you. It’s an awesome way to make friends and discover new things you might love. Plus, it looks great on college applications. Numero dos STAY ORGANIZED: High school can get pretty hectic with assignments, tests, and activities. Trust me, staying organized is key. Use a planner or a digital calendar to keep track of everything. Write down deadlines, plan your study schedule, and break big projects into smaller tasks. It really helps keep the stress in check. Number three Ask for Help: Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you’re struggling with a subject or feeling overwhelmed. Teachers, counselors are there to help you. Asking for help early on can prevent a lot of stress later. Trust me I tell you for experience especially if you have AP classes those are a pain in the ass. Number four Manage Your Time Wisely: Balancing school, activities, and personal time can be tough. Avoid procrastination by starting projects and studying for tests well in advance. Develop a routine that helps you manage your responsibilities without burning out. Advice 5 Build Good Relationships Being respectful and kind to your teachers and peers can make a big difference. Positive relationships create a supportive environment and can even lead to valuable recommendations for college or jobs. Try to stay away from the bad people that are a bad influence to you seriously at the end you’ll realize they were a waste of time.
Take Care of Yourself Your mental and physical health are super important. Make sure you’re getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising. Take time to relax and do things you enjoy. High school can be stressful, and taking care of yourself is essential. But yess please sleep, trust me you’re gonna be tired all day if you don’t sleep your hours!!! Also Stay True to Yourself Peer pressure can be tough, but it’s important to stay true to your values and beliefs. Make decisions that are right for you, not just what everyone else is doing. Being yourself will lead to more genuine friendships and a more fulfilling high school experience. Plan for the Future It’s never too early to start thinking about your future. Whether it’s college, a vocational path, or another career option, start planning now. Seek advice from counselors, attend college fairs, and think about your long-term goals. Planning ahead can help you make informed decisions and ease the transition after high school. Especially the juniors upcoming seniors you guys have a huge opportunity with the career center/ gear up they help you navigate the do over night trips to different universities just keep in touch with them don’t lose that opportunity it’s a big opportunity that no one except for your grade is allowed to get because that opportunity it will not be available for incoming freshman a sophomores and juniors. But besides that, don’t give up, underclassmen think about what you want to do in the future because trust me it goes by really fast and when you know it senior year will be just around the corner! My last advice for you underclassmen is to enjoy what you can! High school is a unique and exciting time in your life. While it’s important to work hard and plan for the future, don’t forget to enjoy the present. Make memories, cherish friendships, and have fun. These years go by quickly, so make sure to appreciate the journey. Going out with friends MAKES MEMORIES that the most valuable thing you will ever have with you in your heart don’t get led by the bad influences because trust me that’s a waste of time to be with bad influences and learn who is your friend and who isn’t.
