Yearbook class is a great opportunity to contribute to your school. Students get to capture what our school is all about and our year spent together.
Yearbook is student-run and open to all grades. You get to go to school events depending on your position and capture those moments. When asking the Senior Editor and Editor in Chief what the hardest thing in the yearbook is, they said, “making sure everyone meets deadlines.”
The yearbook includes many positions. Some of these positions are, Editor in Chief (Veronica Kondey), Senior Editor (Caleb Villarreal), Photo Editor, Layout Editor, Sales Manager, Social Media Manager, Copy Editor, and Lead Reporter. If you love to take photos and edit things this could be the class for you.
The yearbook has different pages for clubs, sports, events, class photos, senior photos, senior baby photos, senior hall of fame and more. Being in this class you can make these moments something special so your classmates can have these memories when looking back.
Clubs include, Knitting club, Chess club, LHS Rowing, Robotics, HOSA, Poetry club, Eagle Crew, DECA, Badminton club, Filipino club, Muslim Students club, National Honors Society, and many more. These clubs get recognition in the yearbook with a picture and the names of every member.
Some of the sports include, football, basketball, baseball, cross country, cheer, soccer, and tennis. There are many more sports, too many to name. Some of the most popular sports are football and basketball. Our football games always have the best student section and it’s always cool seeing the photos in the yearbook.
You can find Yearbook in Ms. Casey’s class, #128. This class is all year round if you commit to it! Buy your yearbook at the ASB office or in their Instagram bio, (Lhseagles_year). Most importantly, contribute to your school.
