Freshmen Dauv’e Hunter, senior Jaeden Smith, and freshmen Tineze Kelly, are Lindbergh High School varsity football athletes. All three players have come to the conclusion that Lindbergh needs an immediate change.
Lindbergh’s football program led by head coach Jacob Allie, has been hit with some trials and tribulations, ending the season with a record of 1-9
Senior Jaeden Smith, looks back at finishing his last high school football game. “This season was very disappointing”, says Smith. Jaeden believes the Lindbergh football program needs more discipline and chemistry to change the program around.
Freshman teammates Dauv’e Hunter and Tineze Kelly also share the same thoughts, “This season was alright besides the record, I think I played well”, Said Dauv’e. “This season was pretty embarrassing with our team’s record” Said Tineze. Jaeden plans to “do him” when the season officially ends and continue to be successful in every way he possibly can.
Dauv’e hasn’t decided completely on if he will continue with the team next season, he has hopes of getting a Division 1 offer during his years in high school, and wants to take any path he can to get there. He doesn’t know if Lindbergh will be the place for that.
Tineze is planning on staying with the Lindbergh football program next season with hopes
of stepping up and rebuilding the team with his teammates. Tineze has hopes of becoming one of the leaders of the football program
The three of them enjoyed quality time with the team during the season. Both freshmen agree that the football team’s liveliness, and energy won’t be the same in the locker room with senior Jaeden Smith gone next season.
