Tati is a junior at Lindbergh High School and has been a dedicated manager for the wrestling team for the past two years. She enjoys her role and takes pride in supporting the team.
When asked about her favorite coach, Tati had high praise for Coach Chris. “I’ve had a lot of great coaches, but Coach Chris has been my favorite. People learn a lot under him—he’s a great teacher who truly supports the players. You can tell he really cares about the team. He pushes everyone to be better, making sure they give it their all. Not everyone comes in with the right mindset, but he helps them stay focused.”
Reflecting on the season, Tati shared that both individual and team performances have been strong. As the team advances to regionals and state, she believes they have what it takes to win it all.
Looking ahead, Tati plans to pursue a business degree in college. While she’s not sure yet, she’s open to continuing as a wrestling manager at the collegiate level. “I really enjoy being a wrestling manager, so I might look into doing it in college.”
Her favorite part of the job is attending meets and tournaments, where she gets to support her teammates as they compete. However, she also recognizes areas for improvement. “I think I could improve on staying super organized during meets—keeping track of stats and making sure everything runs smoothly. I also want to get better at communicating with the wrestlers and coaches so I can help more effectively. Plus, I could work on being quicker at recording match results and setting up for practices.”
Tati’s dedication to the team and her drive for self-improvement make her an invaluable part of Lindbergh’s wrestling program.
