Monday, February 10th – Meme day ( dress like your favorite meme)
For meme day junior Aima, dressed up as an ant. Her favorite part of the costume was the branch. She described Spirit Day as “fun” and enjoyable due to students being able to do things they don’t usually do. Aima also noted that the environment is better during spirit week, as students support those who dress up.
Tuesday, February 11th – Dress like your type ( dress like your crush or type of person you are into)
Freshman Juliet Duque and Mai Gun described today’s spirit day as “fun,” though they weren’t sure if students followed the theme. Juliet praised the “dress up like your type” idea as “very creative.” Both felt the spirit week had a positive impact, especially seeing all the couples, and were excited for “Hearts Galore.” When asked about future Spirit Days, Mai suggested a fashion show or a princess theme.
