Hello Eagles! Lindbergh’s talent show was an opportunity for all LHS students’ to show their talents and creativity! The event took place in the auditorium Friday, March 7th, at 6:30 pm. Many students from all grades showed off their talents!
First, let’s hear what our talent show MCs have to say about the show. First, Timote Kaifoto, Senior Treasurer of class of 2025, was one of our MC speakers and also performed during the talent show. Timote thinks that the talent show is a cool way to showcase students’ talents and gives opportunities to a wide variety of students. “I think it can help people break out of their shell and get out there more.” Timote wanted to see people show off their talents and encourage others to participate in future talent shows.

The second MC, Jalicia Hendrix, thinks that the talent show can build students’ confidence. Jalicia performed thanks to a friend, even though she had stage fright. She believes it builds self-confidence to go up and do something you’ve never done before. “As a freshman, I enjoyed watching the talent show.” Jalicia wanted for people to enjoy and be intrigued when watching the show and for more people to get involved.

Many people aim for an impact on the audience with their performance, not just to showcase their abilities to a large community. Amari Pierce, an 11th grader at LHS, won 1st place in the Eagles Got Talentand said, “I wanted to get up on stage to inspire young black kids to go out there and perform.” Amari has been perfecting her skill for drumming skills for 14 years. They began drumming from an early age and wanted to share their talent with others.
Maybe some people just want to go on stage to wow the audience for fun; that’s what Alivia Bressler, a 9th grader at LHS, did. “I’m not sure if there was any goal to ‘impact the audience.’ I guess I just wanted to leave them stunned? I just came here with my friend for fun!” Alivia and her friend, Aralyn Vilay, another 9th grader at LHS, performed the song, “If i ain’t got you” by Alicia Keys.
Thank you to all those LHS students who came to support their peers! Congratulations to our top three winners for the Eagles Got Talent. We hope to see you again next year for the next Eagles Got Talent!
