Lilian Ventura is Lindbergh’s new librarian. She had a warm welcome from Mr. Caudle & Lindbergh staff. They were all happy to meet her.
Words of motivation from Mrs. Ventura, “Welcome each day as a new. A present you need to open, not lingering on past mistakes & focusing on solutions.” Her goal is to keep the library open & safe for students, while helping them in any way she can.
Mrs. Ventura’s favorite book is the Bible. “My faith is the one thing keeping me on the ground, allowing me to wake up everyday giving grace & kindness.” Throughout history, the Bible has been a source of inspiration & influence for many different cultures & religions.
Her favorite author is Mark Haddon & recommends him to anyone who likes mystery. Mrs. Ventura also recommends a book from him titled “The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night-Time.” It’s about a person with autism & goes into depth about the way he thinks & does things.
She loves how the teachers & students appreciate the changes she’s made, especially the thematic display she puts up. Ventura appreciates the welcoming notes she receives from teachers & students.
