The Renton School District has announced an official return to learning date of April 19. In the emails to families, the district stated  “thousands of middle and high school families who completed our return to in-person learning survey. More than 7,000 families (88%) responded: 51% say they would return their student to in-person instruction; 49% prefer to remain with in-home learning.” Information not provided but shared with the Egalitarian included high school students will return to the original start time of 7:20 am. “We are finalizing additional details to the plan, which ion will be communicated to families next week during a Family Information Night, as well as in another email message,” said in the email to families.
