Eagles win 41-20 football game against Evergreen
It was an amazing day for the Eagles with a big win for football, a 40-year-old swim record falling and families start to fill the stands.
The football team won its first game of the season with a 41-20 win over Evergreen. Chase Linkous led the way for the Eagles with three touchdowns and defense by Setefano Sete who came up with a big interception in the second half.
The boys cross country team also won with senior Parker Duncan leading the way. Duncan won his first race of the season followed by:

The girls swimming and diving team competed in its third time trials. Sophomore Caelee Truong broke the 100 Butterfly school record with a time of :59.87. This record (1:00.00) had been held by Paula Martin since 1981. She also achieved state qualifying times in the 200 Free, 100 Butterfly, and 100 Free.
Makenna Jones – achieved state qualifying times in the 100 Free, and 500 Free.
Cheyenne Bertch, Makenna Jones, and Kate Widmer achieved district qualifying times
Sierra Scott, Angelina Crites, An Pham, Kate Widmer, and Cheyenne Bertch achieved varsity qualifying times.
