The Eagles football and cheer teams celebrated its seniors last night before the game against Highline. In the end, the Eagles fell short despite a continued effort losing 38-14 to move to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles will face the Foster Bulldogs next Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at Foster High. (Only Facebook Live streaming is available).

Lindbergh scored just before halftime after two Pirate penalties, turn the ball over at the two yard line. Cornelius Grushke on the next play scored, Francisco Resendiz kicked the extra point for a 12-6 score at halftime.

Setefano Sete took the kickoff return 81 yards to set-up quarterback Blake Dompier for a 13-yard touchdown run (Resendiz extra point) to pull to within 4, 18-14. Highline would respond with several long touchdowns.

The Eagle defense keep consistent pressure on the HIghline quarterback and backfield. Treavor Atkins, Joshua Lamositele, Josiah Burnley each had at least 2 sacks and multiple tackles in the game.
