Girls volleyball and soccer lose close games

The girls volleyball team lost to Tyee, 3-2 Tuesday night during the Kingco League tournament. The girls dropped the first set, then won two in a row before dropping the last two. The team was without the help of junior Olivia Deckard and sophomore Camryn McCray, both were injured. The loss ended the season for the Eagles with a 6-7 record.

The girls soccer team took a 2-0 lead into their match against North Kitsap Tuesday night at Renton Stadium. The Eagles allowed two goals in the 2nd half, sending the game into extra time twice. Before the shootout began, the lights at the stadium turned off (believed to be the timer). After a few moments, the Eagles were not able to pull away losing 3-2. The loss moved the Eagles down to 16th overall in the RPI and into the losers bracket. They now play Franklin Pierce, Thursday at Renton Stadium, 7 pm. (Admission charges applied even if you have an ASB card). If the Eagles win, they advance to the state tournament and a game Saturday with the winner of the Olympic-Port Angles at North Mason High School, 12 pm. A loss on Thrusday and the Eagles season is over. (BRACKET)

The football season has ended for the Eagles. A team for this weeks non-playoff game was not found in time.
