CROSS COUNTRY – Senior Kevin Quiroz was the lone Eagle in this past weekends 2A State Cross Country Championships in Pasco. Quiroz finished 129th overall finishing the 3.1 mile course around Sun Willows Golf Course in 18:35.5.

GIRLS SOCCER  – The girls faced a tough Port Angeles team Saturday in the consolation final of the 2A District 2/3 Tournament at North Mason High School in Belfair. The Eagles only found the back of the net once by  junior Rae’Ayn Gilbert in the 4-1 loss to end the season for the 2A Kingco League Championships.

VOLLEYBALL – Despite what was to be the end of the season has now changed into a playoff berth for the girls volleyball team who last to Tyee last week in the 2A Kingco Tournament. Over the weekend, two seeds were award including one to Lindbergh. The Eagles face Kingston, Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at Franklin Pierce High School. If the girls win, they will play a second match at 8 p.m.

GIRLS SWIMMING – Seven Eagles will be swimming this coming Friday and Saturday after finishing in the top 6 of the 2A District 2/3 Swimming Championships at Hazen over the weekend. Cheyenne Bertch, Angelina Crites, Emma Jensen, An Pham, Anna Steiner, Caelee Truong, and Kate Widmer all qualified for one or more events including relays. Truong stole the show on both nights, resetting two school records she has previously beaten in the 100 and 200 free. Coach Roger Miron says a fourth school record could be broke during the state tournament that begins early Friday morning with the finals early Saturday morning.

50 Freestyle – Cheyenne Bertch placed 13th

100 Butterfly – An Pham placed 10th

100 Freestyle – Caelee Truong placed 2nd; Angelina Crites placed 10th

500 Freestyle – Kate Widmer placed 7th; Emma Jensen placed 14th

200 Free Relay – Cheyenne Bertch, Anna Steiner, An Pham, Caelee Truong placed 2nd

100 Backstroke – Angelina Crites placed 12th

100 Breaststroke – Cheyenne Bertch placed 6th; Mayumi Suzuki placed 16th

400 Free Relay – Anna Steiner, Kate Widmer, Angelina Crites, Caelee Truong placed 5th
