Movie review : Encanto
Disney’s Encanto is a movie about the Madrigals who are an extraordinary family and live in the mountains of Colombia. They live in the charming place, Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift except for Mirabel. However, she soon may be the Madrigal’s last hope when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
This movie is amazing. Encanto shows all different types of Colombian people, making Encanto such a diverse movie showing more appreciation toward black Hispanic people. Encanto also has so many meaningful songs with deep meaning like “Under The Surface” sung by Luisa. It’s about feeling worthless and having too much pressure on oneself. This movie is just beautiful and honestly, I’ve watched this movie 14 times because it just has such a beautiful meaning, I saw myself relating to so many characters in this movie. My family and I really enjoyed this movie. It brought all of us together again like we used to be.
So if you have Disney+, I recommend you to watch this movie with your family. The movie has such a powerful meaning and is something you just can’t miss.
