League standings, RPIs and playoffs

League championships begin this week

Senior Benjamin Walters finishes as the first Lindbergh runner earlier this week. Walters is expected to finish in the top 10 of this weekend’s 2A KingCo League Championship.

League standings (as of Oct 17):

Football (RPI) – Highline (13) 4-0, Renton (27) 4-0, Lindbergh (32) 3-2, Sammamish (44) 2-2, Foster 2-3, Interlake 0-4, Evergreen 0-5.

Playoffs – Week 10 playoffs have not been published. Top 3 allocations to Bi-District playoffs November 4-5.

Girls soccer (RPI) – Lindbergh (26) 8-1, Sammamish (22) 7-1, Renton 4-2-1, Highline 3-5-1, Evergreen 1-7, Foster 0-7. (No Tyee team).

Playoffs – Sammamish’s game against Interlake was postponed, giving the Eagles the edge in the league standings. District playoffs begin November 1.

Volleyball (RPI) – Sammamish (15) 8-0, Highline (23) 7-2, Foster (20) 5-3, Lindbergh (30) 4-4, Tyee 3-5, Renton 2-6, Evergreen 0-9.

Playoffs – Top 4 from KingCo join SPSL and Olympic leagues in a 16-team district playoffs. District playoffs begin November 11.

Boys tennis – Lindbergh 6-2, Sammamish 5-3, Highline 2-3, Foster 2-4, Renton 0-6. (No Evergreen or Tyee complete teams).

Playoffs – Regular season concluded last week with boys capturing a league title. Playoffs resume in the spring.

Girls Swimming – Last regular season meet is this week.  League swim meet is established by qualifying times. Details have not be published on locations.

Cross Country – League championships this Saturday. Allocations to district championships based on team scoring for boys then individuals. Girls will score individuals without a full team.

Boys Golf – Playoffs begin this week to qualify for districts in the spring.
