The Renton School District posted on its Instagram page all outdoor activities are cancelled. This impacts the JV Cross Country Meet in SeaTac and the KingCo Boys Tennis Championships at Highline.

Practices will either be cancelled or moved inside. This does not impact volleyball or swimming.

According to Washington Department of Ecology Air Quality Index map, shows the area around 160. Another air quality index in real time is Purple Air and the nearest station near Lake Youngs shows 258.

Smoke from nearby wildfires north of North Bend and near Skykomish continue to bring smoke into the area. Rain is expected by Friday.
