Boys basketball is off to a great start, they started a little rocky but got back on track! With them winning 3 out of 6 games, they are very hopeful to have more wins during this season. The boys basketball team has great energy and passion every basketball season and hopes to keep it going.

Lukas Lutthans is a Senior at Lindbergh and is on the varsity basketball team. I asked Lukas what his favorite thing about basketball is,  ¨My favorite thing about playing basketball is the positive energy I get when we make scores and win the games. Its also seeing the community while playing¨ stated Lukas. His hardest part during the games is the way it affects his mental and losing the games also is the hardest part.

Lukas said some strategies he uses during the game to get through is always staying positive to himself and teammates and having hope about winning. ¨My favorite team to play against during the season is Liberty because they’re good competition and we are 0-3 against them so we strive to win every game with them¨ said Lukas. His favorite player on his team to play with is Ayoub Jarato because he has great positive energy and always keeps him up when he feels down.

Lukas shared his favorite basketball memory: ¨My favorite basketball memory is in the 1st grade, during my Recreation League I grabbed the ball, dribbled to the corner, shot a 3.¨  Lukas Lutthans looks forward to graduating this year and also looks forward to making it to the end of the season strong and is hopeful to bring more wins home for our school as it’s his last year playing.
