District moves return to in-person learning to March 3

The Renton School District has moved the return to in-person learning back a week to March 3. The return to in-person learning is in phases. First phase of students is  inclusive preschool kindergarten, elementary students served in self-contained special education programs. After the first phase, the district plans to phase-in students in grades 1 through 5 and secondary students served in self-contained special education programs throughout March and April.

Lindbergh’s first in-building students will return on March 23, this includes students in the ILC and EBD programs.

The district states they will monitor the health metrics and remain in close contact with Public Health — Seattle & King County in the lead up to the start and beyond.
