From Challenges to Dreams: Sa’Riyah’s Story

Today’s interview is a 14-year-old girl named Sa’Riyah. She was born July 7, 2011, and is the middle child in her family, with two other siblings. “She looks up to her older brother” her younger sister looks up to her.

Sa’Riyah has interest in musicals, music, dancing, sports, and acting. Her hobbies include dance, sewing, and arts and crafts, especially activities that allow her to be creative or active. During school, she participates in track and cheer, showing her dedication and energy.

In the summer, she follows her passions by acting, singing, and dancing through her job in “Teen Summer Musical/Acts on Stage.” She enjoys the experience and finds it fun and rewarding. These opportunities help her grow her confidence and skills in performing arts.

She was raised in Washington, mainly in Kent and Renton. Sa’Riyah is Christian who believes in God,Jesus, and attends church with her family. She has relatives in Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia, and her family owns land in Texas.

Growing up, she faced challenges and negativity, but she stayed strong and kept moving. She is African American, speaks English, and has learned Spanish. She takes pride in being true to herself.

Education is important to Sa’Riyah, and plans to attend college to follow in the footsteps of inspiring family members. Her dream is to become a musical theater performer,professional dancer, actor, singer, and designer in the future.

Overall, Sa’Riyah is hardworking and creative with big goals for her future. Her determination, passion, and mindset continue to shape who she is becoming, and she looks forward to achieving her dreams while inspiring others along the way.
