Alexa Perdomo, an 11th grader at Lindbergh High School, is one of the volleyball players.
She has been playing volleyball since 8th grade and she thinks her team is doing really well so far. She loves playing with her friends and thinks they’re doing a good job on trying new things!
The reason she chose this sport is because she was really connected with volleyball and was really into this sport more than any other sport. Volleyball was her main sport this school year she wants to keep playing with her friends until high school is over.
The position she plays is outside hitter. She likes this position because she gets to go in the front and back row. She feels comfortable with this position because it gives her more space to play.
Her favorite memorable moment was the team’s first win because the crowd was happy about the game. She loved how the school and the team celebrated their win.
The most important thing she does before a game is listen to music it helps her calm her nerves before the game. She listens to anything that fits her vibe or to get her hyped up.
She doesn’t want to continue volleyball in college. She did this sport for fun and she wants to focus on bigger and better things like college and do something more productive besides sports.
