Hannah Tuli, A 12th grade student at Lindbergh High School is the senior spotlight for today! She’s been playing volleyball for the past five years.
One of the challenges she faced with volleyball was being able to balance school and work. The position she plays is middle because she can block. In her freshman year she played center.
A quote she wants to send to future volleyball players is “Put your time into the love that everyone else is.” She wanted to do this sport because she needed something to do in the off season in the summer and she found her best friends here playing volleyball and it taught her commitment, communication, and time management.
Her biggest strength on the court is being able to lead and have everybody be on the same pace about staying in place. Whether it’s somebody in their head or helping them get out of their head.
What she enjoyed about this sport is the sisterhood and the bond that it creates for everybody on the team. Because they’re all going through the same things like school, work, home life or not feeling passionate about the sport anymore, and find the same love through it.
Her goal after she graduates is to help others find something that they are passionate about.
Her volleyball team has won most of their games. Their roster for this season is 12-3 they have great communication on the court when it comes to playing. She feels like everyone on the team is family to her because they are always there for each other and really great friends.
