Lindbergh cross country team at the start of their only home meet of the year.

GIRLS SOCCER – Another strong offensive performance and solid defense lead The Eagles to a 12-0 victory over Tyee. The win improves to 3-0 in Kingco 2A play. Senior Minji Roush led all scorers with six goals, Junior Rae’Ayn Gilbert added three while seniors Analiyah Fornerette, Olivia St. Marie and sunior Elle Vergara added one goal apiece.

CROSS COUNTRY – The cross country team hosted its only league race Thursday. Madelyn Tocher won the girls race (28:15). Devin Bounyavong-Santos led the boys Eagles finishing the course 21:13. Israel Emerson finished 7th (23:21), Abner Ramos 11th (23:51), Michael Clair 14th (24:51), Jamie Valdex 15th (26:02).

GIRLS SWIMMING – The girls swim team won 10 of 11 events against Renton, Tyee and Foster Thursday at the Hazen pool. Caelee Troung made a state qualifying time in the 200 yard IM and district time in the 200 free, 100 free and league in the 100 breasts. Angelina Crites made a district qualifying time in the 200 yard IM, 100 fly Cheyenne made a district qualifying time in the 50 free and 100 fly. An Pham made a league qualifying time in the 100 free and 100 breast. Kate Widmer made a district time in the 100 free and league time in the 100 yard back (full results below).

BOYS TENNIS – The boys tennis team defeated Tyee 5-1.
