Knitting Club becomes most popular club
Currently, the most popular club at Lindbergh is the Knitting Club. Hosted by Ms. Travis & Ms. Cato, they meet in the library every Tuesday at 2:10 pm. The knitting club has nearly 80 members. Club President Liliana Najera has led the club since their first meeting this year in late September. The club is also led by Vice President Rabena Kazi, Secretary Holly Mauery and Treasurer Benjamin Vu. One of the reasons for the club’s popularity is the opportunity to get community service hours. Twenty community service hours are required for graduation and the knitting club can earn you them by working on projects for donation. The knitting club has donated countless hats, clothes, scarves, blankets and more to women’s, homeless and youth shelters.
Your donation will support the student journalists of Lindbergh High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment, cover our annual website hosting costs, send staff to annual trainings during the school year.
