The girls basketball team advanced to the second round of the 2A KingCo playoffs with a 38-35 win over Evergreen. The Eagles play Monday at Foster in another loser out match at 5:30 pm

The boys basketball faces Foster tonight after the girls game. Tipoff is 7 pm

Boys Swimming/Diving
Boys swim also competed on Friday and Saturdays league championships, Kingco league season we finished in 2nd place!! This was a total team effort. We had everyone that swam in prelims (on Friday), got to swim in the championship finals (on Saturday). Below are the placements for our team and attached are the results and team scores.

Girls Wrestling
Senior Sumina Gurung won first place in the past weekend’s sub regional tournament. Gurung is 29-1 on the season and defeated her sister Punima Gurung in the 100 weight class. Oniee Gradin-Core placed third in the 100 weight class and Jasmin Cruz-Abarca placed fourth in the 115 weight class after losing her first match of the day. All four advance to this weekend’s Regional tournament in hopes of earning a state berth at the Mat Classic.

Boys Wrestling
Three Eagle wrestlers won their weight class this past weekend at the 2A KingCo Championships. Seniors Jeffrey Myers(182) and Treavor Atkins(285) took hold titles along with Junior Josue Del Rio(220). Overall the team placed second and a total of 13 wrestlers will advance to the 2A Regionals on Saturday at Lindbergh.
