Eden Gebre, Suheyb Hassan, and RJ Westgaard are all graduating seniors from Lindbergh High School. Each graduate exemplifies different futures, ascending from the same school for the last four years of their life.
Eden Gebre plans on attending Yale University in the fall where she will be majoring in computer science. Eden Gebre’s older siblings were said to influence her high school journey the most, along with self-motivation.
Gebre reciprocates the advice by encouraging younger students to stay focused and have a goal to work towards stating that, “ highschool is a temporary place, not making high school your entire life, thinking ahead, and making a plan for what you wanna achieve or accomplish. ”
Suheyb, an athlete, plans on playing basketball at Whatcom Community College. The discipline he’s taken away from mentors such as JG have assisted him throughout high school. Although there isn’t anything in particular Hassan will miss, his favorite memory was when the Lindbergh varsity boys basketball team went to state.

RJ Westgaard intends on working at an internship at Skanska down in Seattle. Westgaard advises younger students who feel like they’re not doing enough that, “ as long as you graduate you did your job. Apply yourself so society can’t have nothing to say about you, especially for young people of color. ”
Teachers like JG and LD made Westgaard want to be at school, whereas teachers like Ms. Teresek and Ms. Lutrell kept him occupied.
Despite being rooted in the same school, each graduate has a path separate from their peers. Each student is like a planted seed awaiting growth until the day that they bloom. The class of 2025 has finally bloomed and will continue to by planting seeds wherever their future takes them.
