The Senior BBQ, a tradition that brings the entire student body together for a day full of energy, creativity, and celebration.
The day kicked off in the gym with a spirited assembly, opening with a performance of the national anthem by Jalicia Hendrix.

The energy quickly ramped up as each grade battled it out in a class chant competition. While seniors and sophomores held their own, in the end, Freshmen won.

Cheers erupted again for the cheerleading team, who brought the school pride to the stage. The excitement continued with a “Finish the Song” challenge, where classes tested their music knowledge. But perhaps the most unforgettable moment came during the Mario Kart game, a wildly entertaining competition where students from each class raced in small carts, trying to collect cardboard coins as classmates cheered them on.
The assembly didn’t stop there. Senior boys and girls stole the show with a dance performance. Following that, the Vietnamese Fan Dance provided a graceful and cultural moment of beauty.
The assembly concluded with the long-awaited prom court reveal.

As the afternoon rolled in, seniors fired up the grill outside for the BBQ. Burgers sizzled while various clubs and student groups set up booths selling a mix of treats and trinkets. From sweet cups of boba and fruity Korean hwachae to eggrolls, hotdogs, and keychains, the event felt more like a festival than a school day.
One of the most symbolic moments of the day was the senior spray paint wall, a colorful tradition where seniors left their marks in graffiti, celebrating memories and friendships in vibrant hues.
Meanwhile, the Senior Sign-Out video created by Michael, Daylen, and Veronica captured the emotion of the day, as each senior had a chance to sign out on camera, one last memory before graduation. Link to the video: Senior Sign out
