Nearing the end of October, Halloween is right around the corner. The spirit and excitement is spreading across the school as students prepare for the festive occasion.

Jordyn Sariano is a senior. She’s going to go to a Halloween party. Besides going Halloween trick or treating, Sariano watches horror movies. One of Sariano’s favorite parts about Halloween is dressing up, her favorite past Halloween costume is “Cruella de Vil.” Her family has a tradition of doing family costumes and photo shoots.

Kayligh Covarrubias is a junior, she plans to go to her friend’s house, “my friend has a haunted house in her backyard so that’s pretty fun.” Covarrubias states. This year she plans to be a dead cowboy but one of her favorite past Halloween costumes was a fox vampire.

Levi Kyles-Braswell is a junior. She likes to dress up and eat food. Kyles-Braswell and her family sometimes go to church and do activities with the children. Her favorite past Halloween costume is “Cleopatra.” Sometimes she goes to parties. “I’ll chow down beans, cheese and salsa.” Kyles-Braswell expresses.
This year Lindbergh is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” on October 29th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the pool parking lot. There will be activities like; face painting, fall themed games, and of course candy. Participating can also get students two to three community service hours.
As the countdown to Halloween continues, you can feel the anticipation growing. Between creative costumes and festive decorations the season has brought students together this year in a memorable way.
