Caelee Truong set another long standing school record Thursday in the 200 freestyle. The 1979 record was originally set by Teresa Ruckmann (2:01.70), Truong set the bar at 2:00.24. The time was one of four events she has already qualified for at state. She also reset last years school record in the 100 butterfly to 59.16. Cheyenne Bertch qualified for districts in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. Kate Widmer qualified for districts in the 500 freestyle. Additional results below.

Last night the girls soccer team defeated Foster 17-0. Lead by senior Minji Rauch and junior Rae’Ayn Gilbert with four goals each. Junior Marian Esquivel added three goals of her own while seniors Analiyah Fornerette & Olivia St. Marie, junior Morissa Donahue, sophomores Abi Jawili & Tracey To and freshman Rachel Ralston added 1 each. Great team defense again kept our opponent off the scoreboard led by senior goalkeeper Kayte Flores. The Eagles play next Thursday (Sept 23) at Tyee, 3:30 p.m. for the only game of the week.

Girls volleyball played Highline. Both junior varsity and varsity lost 0-3. The girls travel to Renton next Thursday (Sept 23, 7 p.m.).

Boys tennis traveled to Sammamish Thursday, losing 7-0.
