The cheer squad had qualified for the state championships in the stomp division. This is the first year in several years the team is competing with teams from all over the state including some of the larger 3A/4A schools. They will compete at Battle Ground High School February 4 and 5.
This year the squad will be changing over to a competitive cheer team in hope to show the school how hard the cheer squad works and to show what we are capable of. We will participate in the Varsity Super large Game day and Stomp competitions. They have one more competition on Jan 15th at Skyline High School in Sammamish. With hopes to qualify for state at one of those competitions. In order to qualify for state you need to score at least a 65 . Coach Dejanna Rhodes provides the choreography along with our strong captains Alexis Steiner and Chance Marie Keys leading abilities we plan to bring home the state championship.
