The 2029 Associated Student Body officers are Tony Sweetman (Public Relations), Maraki Tesfay (Treasurer), Rayna Dhakal (Secretary), and Ava Long (President).

Their job is to work on things around school, plan fun events and assemblies, and to be good examples of leadership. Lew said, “The benefits of ASB is that we help make events more fun and personal because we know what the students want.” They strive to make school more enjoyable forand make everyone’s voice heard.
They said that their favorite part of ASB is the community they have and how they’re able to connect with people. They like making a change at school, that’s why most of them joined. Tesfayi joined in 7th grade because she wanted to give a spotlight to students. Long had so much fun she became president.
Dhakal said that being a good communicator and a provider is good if you’re going to join ASB. Someone who is creative, organized, and puts others before themselves is ideal. It’s important to support ASB because they make fun stuff possible. “Broke ASB equals broken events,” as Sweetman would say.
Some future plans students can look forward to is What’s up Wednesday, assemblies, and other fun activities. They can’t say too much, but it’s important to be on the lookout for any upcoming activities! Don’t be afraid to compliment them or give them any new ideas.
